Spay and Neuter stray Animals Champaign IN U A E - 2018 !

Deals with the problem of overpopulation of homeless cats and dogs. But, unlike many other countries, it is twice as difficult to solve the overpopulation  problem here.

During our time spent in animal rescue work, we noticed that this is mainly

due to various misconceptions regarding Spay/ Neuter (or Sterilization), which

is the only humane solution to the problem of overpopulation. So, when a pet

has an unwanted litter, people dump the pet and the litter on the road to starve

and die. The ones who survive against all odds, are who we call strays/ street

dogs. Their suffering on the streets then begin as they are left to fend for

themselves.

A second issue we came across is the negative stigma tend to have towards homeless  dogs and cats! Many would prefer to pay a Breeder or a Pet Shop (also contributors to the overpopulation problem) for a “purebred” dog or cat instead of adopting a “stray”. Also, many do not realize the cruelty behind Pet Shops and Breeders, where puppies are bred and kept under cruel conditions and sold off to irresponsible owners. Irresponsible owners then go looking for dogs to “cross” their pet with, to produce and sell even more litters. The knowledge on backyard breeders and inbreeding is clearly absent. Thus, people keep spending money to buy genetically deformed or sick dogs who suffer and die a painful death.   .
